First off we would like to thank everyone who has spent the time submitting all of the great sites. You may be wondering why the site has been down for a while and what is different. The biggest change that you all will see is the design is slightly different.
We have added a blog /Css Tips and tricks section to the site. Where the biggest change comes is behind the scenes. With the number of submissions per day we were unable to keep up with the system we had. We were using a wordpress backend and manually creating each thumbnail and gallery item. We have moved away from a wordpress system and have gone 100% custom. Our what used to be manual submission publishing process is now almost 95% automatic. With our time freeded up from adding all the submissions we can now focus on the community more and give back to you all. We plan on lots of new posts, weekly segments and a whole lot more. We also aim to be more efficient with our publishing of sites that have been submitted.
We are always looking to better the site and keep up with the trends in the Css and design realms. If you have a topic you would like us to write about or would even like to be a guest blogger please feel free to contact us. With our launch we here at boxedcss have a little promotional offer.
