When you check out at Boxedcss, you’re agreeing to the billing terms below. No fine print designed to trip you up — here’s exactly how billing works.

How We Charge You

  • Full payment upfront. When you place an order, your payment method is charged the full amount, including tax and any expedited shipping upgrade. We don’t offer partial billing or installment plans.
  • Pre-sale items. Charged in full at the time of order, even though the product ships later, when the manufacturer releases it.
  • Single transaction. You’ll see one charge on your statement covering your entire order.

Payment Methods We Accept

We work with secure, PCI-compliant payment processors so your information stays protected. At checkout you can use:

  • Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover.
  • Digital wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay.
  • Online payments: PayPal.

For retail orders we don’t accept checks, money orders, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or cash on delivery. Approved wholesale accounts have additional options — see our Wholesale Policies.

Currency

All prices, charges, and refunds are in U.S. Dollars (USD). If your card is issued in another currency, your bank handles the conversion at its own rate and may add its own fees. That’s between you and your bank.

Sales Tax

We collect sales tax where required by U.S. state and local law, including Colorado. The exact amount depends on your shipping address and is calculated automatically at checkout, so you’ll see the full breakdown before you submit your order.

If you’re a tax-exempt buyer, email your exemption certificate to contact@boxedcss.com before ordering. We can’t refund tax retroactively once an order is processed.

Authorization Holds

When you submit your order, your bank may briefly show a pending authorization before the charge settles. If your order is cancelled or declined, that pending amount typically clears within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank.

Accuracy of Billing and Account Information

We reserve the right to refuse any order. At our discretion, we may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order — including orders placed on the same account, with the same card, or to the same billing or shipping address. If we change or cancel an order, we’ll notify you at the email address you provided.

Failed or Declined Payments

  • We email you to let you know.
  • You have 48 hours to update your payment information.
  • If we don’t hear back, the order is cancelled automatically.
  • Your items return to available stock, and we can’t guarantee they’ll still be there later.

Billing Address

Your billing address must match what your bank or card issuer has on file. Mismatches are one of the most common reasons orders are declined or flagged for fraud review. Shipping to a different address is fine — just enter both correctly at checkout.

Subscriptions and Recurring Billing

Boxedcss doesn’t currently offer subscriptions or recurring charges. Every order is a one-time transaction. If we launch a subscription product, we’ll update this section and notify customers in advance.

Pricing Changes

  • Prices can change at any time without notice.
  • Prices in your cart aren’t locked in until checkout is complete.
  • Once your order is placed, your price is locked — we won’t charge more if prices rise.
  • We don’t refund the difference if prices drop after your purchase.

Disputed Charges and Chargebacks

If you don’t recognize a charge from Boxedcss, please contact us before disputing it with your bank. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first can result in your account being suspended, a ban on future orders, or collections action if the chargeback is later reversed in our favor.

Promotional Codes and Discounts

  • Codes apply only to qualifying products listed in the promotion.
  • One promo code per order.
  • Codes can’t be combined with other offers unless we say otherwise.
  • Expired or misused codes won’t be honored after an order is placed.
  • We may cancel codes that are being used fraudulently.

Receipt and Order Confirmation

After every successful order you’ll receive a confirmation email that serves as your receipt, including your order number, product list, tax and shipping breakdown, and total charged. Keep it for your records.

Refunds

Refund eligibility and timing are covered in our Refund and Returns Policy. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
